Patchwork Furniture

 I've always had a thing for beautiful bits of fabric. I have piles of colorful, ethnic, vintage bits that I picked up at thrift stores over the years. I seldom have a use for them but just can't leave them behind either. Re-upholstering a piece of  outdated furniture is the perfect thing to use them for. I doubt I could quite manage doing a sofa or chair just yet, but I do have a footstool that I think I will start out with. I have more projects lined up then I can get to at the moment and for the next 2 weeks I will be getting ready for my move to New Orleans but when I get settled I promise to post some before and after pics of my furniture re-vamps.
